This fundraiser is for our fellow Fijian, Arvin Chand from Ba , who is now settled permanently in Echuca, Victoria, Australia with his wife and 1 year old baby.

Arvin needs our urgent help in donations as unfortunately he is undergoing treatment for polycystic kidney disease and malignant hypertension. He does home dialysis every night for 9 hours per night, 7 days a week. He is also on the waiting list for a transplant.

He is struggling a lot financially as the medical bills are expensive ( Medicare only covers a small portion) and has been on and off work just to keep his treatments going. He has had to keep working at times to keep paying bills, medication cost, rent and support his family.

As he is still technically employed by his very supportive employer Rich River Golf Club, he is not eligible for any of the the current centrelink benefits. His employer has been very supportive of him and is also running a local fundraiser for him in Euchuca.

Any donations supplied will assist in primarily medical costs and also to supplement his household income . You can also help by sharing this Go Fund me page on your social media platforms, via email and word of mouth.
